When the resort faced an unexpected challenge with the departure of their plumber, Jonetani didn’t hesitate. He stepped up, embracing the additional responsibility of a junior plumber. He tackled burst pipes and leaky faucets with the same diligence and humility he applied to his primary role. He learned quickly, his hands, though perhaps more accustomed to the quiet work of the reservoirs, now skillfully coaxing life back into the resort’s plumbing.
Then came July, and with it, the launch of the mesmerizing glass-bottom boat trips.
