This collaboration brings together PASH FIJI’s dedication to improving the welfare of animals in Fiji with FIJI HIDEAWAY’s key strength and focus related to the animal welfare initiative which lies in their commitment for setting a new standard for animal welfare in tourism by embracing a sustainable approach that integrates animals into the community while ensuring their care and wellbeing. About the Initiative
This partnership marks the beginning of a long-term commitment to improve the welfare on animals within the Hideaway community in partnership with PASH. Together, we’re setting a new standard for animal welfare in tourism, by embracing a sustainable approach that integrates animals into the community while ensuring their care and wellbeing.
We believe that by pooling our resources and expertise, we can achieve far greater outcomes than working independently. The initial phase will focus on desexing cats and dogs to help reduce the stray population, along with providing essential medical care including microchipping and vaccinations. It will also involve comprehensive training and on-site implementation, laying the groundwork for a broader and more impactful movement.
